The PCChips MB863G Pro is a budget motherboard at best, able to take the AMD K7 socket A processor type.. from what I can see, there is no socket A 3800+ processor available, so the combination was never a starter.. It is difficult to say what was fitted at this point..
The Biostar P4M80-M4 is also a budget board.. the Celeron CPU fitted is a budget processor..
All immaterial really.. the issue is whether or not you gotten value for money, and are you happy with it?..

I recently purchesed a costom built desk top computer,it was sold to me as a
combo MB863G Pro 3800+,512 MB memory,80 GB hard drive XP HOME after about a
month I stated haveing alot of trouble with the thing.I notcied in my
computer properties it would read XP-M 1900+ ,I carried it back and the
fastest the man could make it run was 2500+ and said my motherboard was
bad,he would replace it.Ok he installed an P4M80-M4,My system properties
reads (computer Intel(R) Celeron(R)CPU2.26GHz2.26GHz,448 MB of RAM).My
problem is Im new at all this and I dont know if i have what I paid for right
on or not,or if I have my 3800+ or not,my computer is still slow and eratic
im confused and at my wits end could some one please help strighten me out on
some of this?
