Someone will obviously correct me if i am wrong but i don't think Windows
95 supports DSL. I think, and this is only information i recieved from a
user, that Windows ME is the lowest to support broadband connections. I
know a user who applied to have cable broadband installed and when the
engineer turned up he said he couldn't install boradband because she had
Windows 98 and needed a minimum of Windows ME.
That may be because the "engineer" needed to install a connection program
from a CD - I know that my brother-in-law had to do that for his usb DSL
modem.
however, Windows 95 can connect to a network, can't it? If so, just install
an ethernet card (if the machine hasn't got one already) and connect either
via a router/modem or a hub/modem.......That should work, shouldn't it?
.
