Re: Move installed programs to another Drive Letter in XP Prof.

Your question is unclear...exactly what are you trying to move? In any case,
the best way to move installed programs to another drive is to uninstall and
reinstall in the new drive. There is third party software that claims to be
able to move programs without reinstalling them but, in my opinion, caveat
emptor. Only the programs' installer/uninstaller knows exactly where all the
bits and pieces are.

Have just replaced a HD, and need to move a few folder that I have on
my Desktop to the partition part of the drive, any idea of a quick
method. Have read I should uninstall and the reinstall all the programs
in the folders [folder called HouseKeeping-it has all my clean up
programs under one folder]
Thanks in advance. PK
