While I am all for the fact that most users of computers are just that -
users of the system just like they are users of any other tool - only
knowing enough to get what they need out of said tool... It's the
relative use of percentages that has me fascinated on this one.
Not going to say that I have never used such a statement - especially
amongs my colleagues in a given location when it comes to the end users of
computers.. But I thought I would ask and see if this particular stat
came from some larger study than cursory identification of lack of user
skills on computers. heh
