Re: xp repair

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

No, you can't.. a CD is required

To obtain a replacement disc call the Microsoft Order Desk at (800) 360-7561
and request a replacement for your damaged disc. If you are outside the
United States, contact the Microsoft subsidiary for your area. To locate
your subsidiary, see the Microsoft World Wide Offices Web page at:

http://www.microsoft.com/worldwide/

This assumes that you require a replacement for a retail boxed version for
which you have the necessary purchase proof..

If your version is OEM, that is to say, supplied by the vendor of the
computer as part of the original package, then you will have to contact the
vendor..

Alternatively, you could borrow a copy of EXACTLY the same version as is
installed on your computer presently..
