Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I am assuming that no one in this group uses a Netgear remote modem to
communicate with a cable line since no one replied to my question about a
problem I was having.

Here is what I have found out. After 6 months, Road Runner sent a
qualified person to resolve my problem. He informed me that MSN XP has
their own software to communicate with the modem , and not to use the
Netgear software. He feels that the two software's were competing and
causing my disconnect problems. The Netgear software was removed, the MSN
program was set up and I have never had a problem since.

This info may or may not help someone in the future.
