Are these web sites in languages other than the language version of the
Windows XP you are using?
If so you need to install the fonts.
A good source of information about your computer is located right on your
computer.
Go to the Start Button and select Help and Support from the menu choices.
Then type fonts in the search box at the top of the Help and Support
console.
