when i start my laptop the battery icon will be missing, if i restart my laptop it will be there. also the quicklaunch icon will always show even if i go to properties and click on always hide. how do i fix these 2 problems. any help will be appreciated. thanks
Start | Control Panel | Performance and Maintenance | Power Options On the Advanced tab check the box to "Always show icon on the taskbar".
If that is checked already, then click << at the left edge of the Notification Area.
