Are you referring to the supervisor or user password that is usually
set in the BIOS. This would be the first password that comes up
when you boot the system. This will happen even before the WIN XP
starts.
If this is the case, watch your screen on boot up and look to see what
it says to do hit to enter the setup. This could be the delete key,
the F2 or even the F12 key. Some PC's may also have it set to hit the
CTRL and F2. Watch your screen and it what it says. Then go into the
BIOS and find the section that says something about Security. This is
where you will find the password setup. All you probably would have to
do is hit the enter key twice to clear the password, but check either
the screen or even better yet, the owners manual.
