Re: New computer, baffling problem

Heather, Now mind yo this is Only a Guess. But seeing how your graphics card
is built in, and the prob. sparatic,
have you looking at your FW or AV s/w? I have an HP Pc and for some reason
when I went from a 17" to a 19" monitor
2 of the pre packaged games started causing the monitor to *blank out*.

My 1st thought was a bad monitor. After they swapped it out 2 more times we
deduced it was not the monitor.
Next thought was a flakey video card. Now they never did send me the proper
card, they tried 6x, I read an article
saying how Norton Util sometimes causes problems. I have Norton Inet Sec.
2005.

So I figure rather than send the pc out to hp I'd ask Symantec. They sent me
a couple of links to pages w/diff. things to try.
Well my prob. went away after the 2nd article.

As I said it's just a thought. Good luck.
