Something running in the background that Windows can't kill is preventing
your system from shutting down (It happens to my computer all the time after
my daughter runs iTunes).
What you need to do is kill one process (Ctrl-Shift-Escape will bring up the
task window) at a time. Don't kill systray or explorer. Then see if your
computer will shut down. If it does, you've found the offending program. If
it doesn't shut down, kill one more process and try shutting down again.
Also, you shouldn't be loading Adobe software on two dfferent computers.
You're volating the EULA.
