Heres my problem, i have AOL broadband but its through the Golbespan
Modem ADSL ... now me being pretty stupid i bought a linksys router
thinking that i could plug my modem in however i find that i do not
have a DSL ethernet connection so i had to put it on ebay and sell
that damm thing.

I want to go wireless but i dont know how to start ot where to look or
what all i know is that i need a Modem/Router combi so i can plug my
RJ-11 connecter into the Modem/Router as i do not have an RJ-45
connection.

what i want to do is

Share my XP Aol connection with another computer that is running
linux
my linux computer has a wireless ethernet card already installed so i
am asuming i just need the Modem/Router and plug in my phone line
cable into the Modem/Router and i will be able to access the internet
as normal throught the knew modem/Router yeah? then set up linux to
find the router and connect that, am i on the right directions or am
i like way off only want to go wirless because i have just started to
use Win XP but i dont want to give up my Linux system i want the best
of both worlds
