fdisk mbr ?
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
I recently installed Linux on an unused partition on my hd , it installed
the Grub boot loader that lets me boot to either Linux or XP , but it
defaults to Linux. I've played with Linux a few weeks and decided it was
not my cup of tea and have uninstalled it . Now when I boot the Grub
boot loader still loads and defaults to the non existent Linux . I can
still choose the XP option and it loads fine . I would like to do
away with the Grub loader and have Xp boot normally.
Will "fdisk mbr" overwrite the Grub loader , do I need any other commands
with "fdisk mbr" . Is this a safe way to do it .
Thanx
Chas
