if you want to be able to have both versions installed when you need them,
you are better off just having a dual-boot system instead of constantly
swapping hardware
since you want pro to be 'master' (i assume the first drive) then just boot
from the home cd and install on the second drive
your bios settings will state what device will boot first
after home edition is installed, you will have a menu at startup asking
which to start, professional or home
you can use this as a bit of a guide
