TaskManager = Fridge light

What with things slowing down a bit I've set the task manager to default appear
on the usage graph when I load it.

I have CPU 1 set, or rather I have Seti set to use ONLY CPU 1. I imagine other
programs take and make use of CPU 1 also if there's anything seti hasn't
already grabbed, but that's pretty much why I set seti to use CPU 1 only. It
grabs every bit of memory it can.

Over the past 6 months [the life of this machine] there's been no real problem
with seti using just CPU 1. The machine doesn't seem to even notice it. I know
I didn't see any detrimental effect with seti running or not running except
when downloading from the web. [FTP takes up every resource also.] Then
unloading seti makes things fly. but during normal usage, it doesn't seem to
affect anything.

Anyway's the graph: CPU 0 on the left. seti CPU 1 on the right.
When I 1st open up task manager, CPU 0 is showing 100%, then it drops like
you'd expect the fridge light to do playing hide and seek. Drops anywhere from
50-6%. Not 60% but 6%.
The page file usage shows no change related to the usage graph.

Why would it drop like that from 100% ? CPU 1 remains at 100% seti's still
kicking along.

I still haven't found what's slowing things down. No virus or ad stuff.
