Look at it this way: if I right click on a folder called "Documents" on
drive C and then paste a shortcut to C:\Documents on my desktop, I will see
exactly the same files whether I use the shortcut I created or navigate to
the folder using My Computer. I didn't create a new set of files, I just
created a shortcut to the folder containing those files. That's the same as
the My Documents folder on the desktop or the start menu.
