My problem is that whatever I do always results in the "missing or corrupted
ntoskrnl" message. I can reinstall Windows and everything works OK. HOWEVER,
When I Restore the registry from my backup set and restart I get the message
above. I am using the Full backup from last May so I doubt the registry in
the backup is corrupt.
I am going to try the approach suggested by Dave. I have tried P. A. Bear's
suggestion but I never receive an opportunity to use the "R" key as shown in
my first post.
I appreciate the help from Bear and Dave.
Peter.
