SpyBot has just detected a file called Opasoft. I followed a link to WWW.f-secure and from there downloaded a removal tool, (OpasTool). It ran in about five seconds reporting 'Nothing to clean'. However the text file which accompanied the tool says to make it scan all hard disks, go to your command interpreter and type: OpasTool /scanfiles and press enter.
when I do this I am told that 'OpasTool is not a recognised internal or external command, operable program or batch file.'
I have also searched through Explorer and Regedit and can't find any of the entries which f-secure say might exist.
So, how do I make the removal tool scan the hard drive from command prompt, or does the non-existence of any reg entries mean the worm is gone?
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
