Hi Rick,
Messenger installs for all users. What you might do is go ahead and install
it, then use the options in it to disable it from loading at startup. Then
move its start icons from the AllUsers folders to the local folders of the
one user that wants it. These you will find under C:\Documents and Settings.
It will still be available for all, but only that one user will see it.
