Do they have that "under-run" feature do you know? $40 sounds awfully
cheap. I would like my next burner to have that feature and burn a little
faster than this poor quality one. But then we (us and the HP techs)
don't know why I'm getting buffer underuns with a 2.60 Ghz CPU and nothing
else running when I burn CDs. I keep getting a error saying the PC can't
keep up with the burner. That's absurd.
Note: the old HP with a 900 Mhz processor never once, that we can recall,
had a buffer underrrun and I did hundreds of both audio and data backups
with it over the years.
I don't need DVD anything since we have no interest in that. ;-)
