Re: Network Load Process

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Jack

I left out a few things

The server is Windows 2003 R2 Standard DC SP2

This is a small network I run in my home so I have no IT personal to talk
to.

My two other workstations work fine but they have internal network adapters.

I beleive it is only the way the services are starting up. But I do not know
which services are involved

I would like to make the service that starts the usb network adapter to be
dependant on the other network services to make sure they are all started
before the network adapter is started opps I mean the network services to
start after the network adapater is loaded.

Thanks

Again

Tom

Hi
Your computer is set to logon to a Domain based network.
If are trying to logon at work talk to the IT personal.
If you are at home you need to configure the computer for Work Group.

Windows XP Pro SP3 workstation

Have a Trendnet USB 2.0 network 10/100 adapter in my laptop.

When the pc starts up I get several errors that the domain controller is
not available netlogon error etc.

I believe the problem is the network drivers are loading before the USB
network adapter is loaded.

Does anyone know the service name that starts the usb network adapter?

Any thoughts or ideas

Thanks

Tom
