Hi
I've been running XP sp3 for quite some time now and all has been OK.
Suddenly though I've encountered a strange browsing problem that effects ALL browsers IE7, Firefox3 and that new Google thing.
In practise they just stop browsing !
I don't get any error messages or page not available warning. The browsers just seem to go into some kind of trance and don't recover pages.
I'm forced to reboot to get them to start working again but it seems that they only function for a certain time!
It's not a connection problem because I can still connect to my mail and Skype keeps working.
I've tried scanning with latest the AVAST and also with SpyBot but all to no avail in that they report a clean machine.
Any help on what could be causing this ??
My PC is updated through MS Update.
Thanks
Steve
