SETTING UP 2 DESKTOPS TO COMMUNICATE



I'm attempting to set up a two-computer network for connection and file
sharing, etc. One of the desktop is Win XP and the Other windows Vista.
What do I need, Hub, Switch or just connect the 2 computer with a ethernet
cable.. please help
