Re: Network Neighborhood shows unknown name

Hello,

when I check my Network Neighborhood I see the list of shares in my
network. For one computer they say something like <foldername> at
<computer name>. For
another computer the shares are listed like <foldername> at <some
unknown name> (<computer name>).

Can somebody please tell me where <some unknown name> may come from
and how I can get rid of it?

Kind regards,

Frank

If you mean you see unknown computers showing up when you browse your domain
or workgroup, it means that at one point those computers were connected.
They may not be, now. They'll eventually disappear.
