Found a tool. The Client Side Caching Options Command line tool, or CSCCMD.
Apparently, you must contact Microsoft to get this tool, it is not linked
for download.

The syntax is:

csccmd /disconnect:\\oldserver\oldshare

I appreciate the reply, however, this does not necessarily apply to my
situation. Likewise, this is a PRE SP2 hotfix which was included in
SP2. I am still searching.

Seems that the 'NetCache' registry key plays an important role, and
you
might find your answer there. Once you know exactly what's needed, one
solution might be to roll-out a .reg file of new settings from the
login
script.

Hi Michael,

We just added a server on one network and had to change OF for all
users.

In Explorer, under Folder Options, Offline Files tab, press Ctrl-Shift
and click Delete Files. Answer Yes or OK. This will re-initialize the
cache and on reboot the old server will be gone.

Thanks. I have done that, and after the reboot, the old servers are
still listed in the SYnc Manager setup. Likewise, it still pops up to
say that "Server is still offline. Click here to reconnect". Especially
frustrating when the server no longer exists.



That's very strange. I had someone try all that you mentioned before
above without success also. The suggestion I gave you was the only one
that worked for every laptop user. Make sure Ctrl-Shift is being held
down when you click the "Delete files" button, otherwise it won't
re-initialize. You must reboot also for the changes to take effect.
