setting up network problem

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I am going crazy here. I have a DLink router with my desktop running
XP connected by an ethernet connection. I have a laptop running XP
that I am trying to add to a home network wirelessly setup as well as
a newer laptop running Vista that I am trying to connect wirelessly.
The rounter is one that allows wireless.

When I manage to connect to my network, on both laptops I get "limited
connectivity" and cannot access the internet.

Going crazy here and I have tried everything I can think of and have
found no help on the internet so far.
