XP Professional, networked workgroup, Netgear router

I have a network with 4 computers all work well except one comp. name PC1

With PC1 I have access to all computers on cable or wifi

None of the others comp. (than PC1) have access to PC1 and that's the
problem.

When I try to access PC1 I get the following message when addressing drive
D
on PC1:

\\pc1\d is not accessible . you might not have permission to use this
network resource. contact the administrator of this server to find out if
you have access permissions

Not enough server storage available to process this command

I have reloaded PC1 and it was OK, but the problem came back again.

I have upgraded the LAN card driver

I have upgraded the router software Netgear DG834PN

I had overheating problems with router that is fixed with a fan on it

No problems to access the internet

I would be grateful if any one could help me please

The "Not enough server storage" message misleading. The problem is
probably that an antivirus program has changed an obscure TCP/IP
setting. Please see this Microsoft Knowledge Base article for a
likely solution, specifying a value of 15 for IRPStackSize on PC1:

Antivirus Software May Cause Event ID 2011
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;177078

Thanks Steve

I have changed value of 15 for IRPStackSize on PC1

Still the same , no change at all

I agree perhaps antivirus program has changed an obscure TCP/IP

You're welcome, Frank. I'd try higher values, as described in the KB
article.
