When viewing "My Computer" I can see "Shared Folder" and can use it. However
it doesn't show up under "Network Places". The only thing that shows is "My
Websites on MSN". I just got a router for Christmas and hope to share files
between other computers - I'm getting too old for sneaker net ;)

Probably something I forgot, can someone point me in the right direction
please?

Run the Network Setup Wizard, and tell it to enable File and Printer
Sharing.

If a desired shared folder doesn't appear in My Network Places, click
"Add a network place" and follow the prompts to add it.
