Can Map to and Access C Drive on Network Computer but cannot access computer from My Network Places

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi,

After hours of fiddling, I can now map to a network folder on a
Windows XP HomeToshiba laptop from my Windows XP Pro computer, and I
can open that folder and work with its contents. I can also add the
Toshiba to my Network Places, but I cannot access it from My Network
Places and it is not accessible from View Network Computers, though it
is listed there.

Please help me if you will by giving me some things to tryto fix this.

Thanks,
MHenry
