We have a Windows XP PRO PC networked with a printer through a router/
switch box (no internet connection here, only using this box - Linksys
BEFSR81 - as the switch for the PC and printer). It is working fine.

We have access to the internet through a wireless card in the PC.

We cannot get both to work simultaneously - if we disable the wireless
internet connection then we can print on the wired LAN. If we disable
the wired LAN connection then we can get access to the Internet via
wireless but cannot print.

We also need to access the LAN printer from a notebook (centrino)
which will connect to the switch via cable and get internet access via
wireless (working).

We do not have "control" of the Wirelesss router, only connectivity to
it.

We would like to find out the best way to get everything working
simultaneously. Your assistance is greatly appreciated (Thanking you
in advance!)

I see two potential problems with that setup:

1. The wired and wireless routers could be assigning IP addresses in
the same subnet.

2. The wired and wireless routers are both assigning a default gateway
address, which is used for Internet access.

To solve those problems:

1. Find the IP addresses of the wired and wireless connections:
right-click each connection and click Status > Support > Details. If
both addresses are in the same subnet (such as 192.168.1.x), choose a
different subnet (such as 192.168.2.x) for the wired network.

2. Assign a static IP address to each computer's wired connection.
For example, 192.168.2.1, 192.168.2.2, . . . Don't assign a default
gateway address.
