ie7 problem

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I can access most web pages but everytime i try yahoo or even yahoomail it
times out or says check internet connection.. is there some kind of script
or something of the sort that would block just that site? I even freshly
reformated/reinstalled xp home w/sp2 and does same thing but all the other
puters on the same network work fine no problms... I am stumped.. please
email any ideas to riptorheartout@xxxxxxxxxxx
