Do you mean a router less WiFi connection, or a router less Ethernet
connection?
And do you intend to share Internet service too? Here's where using the
correct
terminology could save you confusion and inconvenience. Start with my
guide to
using a crossover Ethernet cable. WiFi will have a few additional
details, but
it's vaguely similar.
