Need Help with LAN Problem
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
I'm running 4 computers (3 Windows XP Pro, 1 Windows 2000 Pro) on a home
LAN. Occasionally I have a problem connecting with one or more of my remote
computers. Not certain what is causing this problem - I sometimes suspect my
McAfee Security Center blocking a connection.
Right now, computer A cannot connect to computer B and visa versa. However,
computer A can connect with the other 2 LAN computers and they in turn can
connect to computer A. All 4 computers can connect to the Internet.
I'm not a wiz at networking but I do have some general knowledge - this time
I'm stumped.
Are there any Network Software programs (free or otherwise) that can easily
diagnose network problems such as I'm having?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Jim
