My laptop runs on xp professional and appears to have lost its ability
to contact /use the dns server .
the problem seems to have accured when attempting to establish a
connection through a different wireless router to the two i usually
use.
Symptom of the problem is that despite having a live and functioning
wireless connection neither of my browsers can function and serching
the web is not a possible.
my norton virus check admits to being unable to contact dns server.
i have been told that the only way to resolve the problem is to rload
xp. surley ther has to be an easier way.
