Rather than disabling the firewall - check ICMP settings and verify that
"allow incoming echo request" is enabled.

I have multiple XP (3) & Win 2000 (1) systems on a home (workgroup)Perhaps the firewall on the misbehaving system is blocking ping requests,

running through a internet gateway. I have no problems sharing the

with all the systems. The problem is, I'm unable to ping one of my
systems.
I've made sure all the settings are correct. The funny thing is that
on

system that I can not ping, it will ping other systems. Any help would

greatly appreciated.
