Do you mean that you're seeing a Local Area Connection in the Network
Connections folder? That's normal, because your computer has a wired
network adapter. It makes no difference whether you're actually using
the wired one.
The only way to remove that connection would be to un-install the
wired network adapter and physically remove it from the computer. But
there's no reason to do that. If you don't use the wired network
adapter, right-click and disable the Local Area Connection.
