Historically a similar situation was at the turn of the 20th century.
At that time it was the people in the "Horse and Carriage Industry" advising people who want to switch to the New Horseless carriages (AKA Cars), No to do so cause it is dangerous.
I guess you are still using a Horse and a carriage?
I guess you think that it's OK for Microsoft to just decide to disable XXX piece of hardware for EVERY Vista user on a whim?
You also find it acceptable that Vista must shut OFF video and audio output unless Vista degrades the signal first?
