I have Win2k pro Sp4 and i have 2 computers on the same WORKGROUP
net.

But although i'm administrator and i use automatic logon feature to
logon into Windows 2000, if a workgroup computer wants to connect my
Win2k based system, the client computer has to enter
''Administrator''
as username.

I do not want computers to be prompted to connect my Win2k system in
the same workgroup. How can i configure it?

In screenshot, you will see if a WinXP home based system wants to
connect my Win2k based system, WinXP based client has to enter
''Administrator'' and nothing to enter as password. These are my
local
Win2k Administrator account config using logging on my Win2k without
any network.

Also there is no an option like ''remember this username and
settings'' WHY???

Thank you...

You're not terribly organised with the details here. A canonical list of the
computers would be better.

So I don't know all of your issues, and I bet that you have a couple more. But
start here - a computer with Windows XP Home won't cache authentication, when
connecting to a server using a non-Guest account.

And consider, please, setting up non-Guest, non-Administrator accounts for
normal use. Using Administrator for routine network or local access is a very
bad idea. Using an Administrative account for access is also not recommended.

So you say there is nothing abnormal? (this network is a home network
so there is nothing to care about security on my LAN. I have to take
care for WAN of course - not related to this subject)
