I have two Window XP home versions with SP2 installed. Both PC have the following setup on them. File and Print sharing on

Firewall turn off. I have matching user accounts on each PC.
Guest account is turned on

From PC A I can access any shared files and folders on PC B.
From PC B I can only access shared printers. If I try to access the Shared
folders it tells me I do not have access. I have even tried the shared document folder. Looking for suggestions I have spent several hours look at this

I know what you mean, but your words got twisted. XP HE *only* has simple file
sharing, so there is no option to turn it on or off. XP PRO offers a choice of
simple or complicated file sharing.

The OP has XP HE, so your advice does not really apply.
