Re: Win2K machine can't see XP machine

Well, I have solved it. It was a firewall issue. Windows firewall
was turned off, but Norton Firewall was blocking it. I need to figure
out how to allow it through norton without turning it off.

connection and both computers could see each other and share
resources. The XP machine was hardwired into the router and the 2000
machine was connected wirelessly. I did an upgrade on internet
service and had to reverse the connections. The Win2000K machine is
now hardwired into the router/modem and the XP machine is wireless.
Since the switch, the Win2000k machine cannot see the XP machine,
however the XP machine is able to see the Win2000K machine. I didn't
change any settings when I switched things. Both machines are able to
access the internet, so I know the wireless connection is working.
Any clues as to where to start looking to resolve this?
