I need to find a way to export dial up information from one computer and
import it to another. We have many laptops that will travel every once in
a
while and will connect via dial up to the Internet through an ISP. Without
having to install their software or configure a connection manually on
each
laptop, how could I distribute a dial up connection with all settings,
including username and password?
Thanks in advance,
Brooke
Brooke,
Look for a file RASPhone.pbk in "C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\Pbk". You can copy
that
file from one computer to another.
Great, Thanks! Ok, got that now. Is there a way to migrate username and
password settings as well?
Try the File and Settings Transfer Wizard (Accessories - System Tools).
