Thanks again for replying.

I've tried two things on the password. First, I went into user accounts and
set a password and then removed it. For guest, I used the 'user passwords2'
to reset the guest account, left them blank and clicked ok.

Next time, I tried putting a space in each spot for both paswords. this also
failed and actually made it so that neither computer could talk to each
other. I tried this again with test in both places. This also failed and
resulted in neither computer being able to talk to each other.

Finally I went back and did remove password on everything so that everything
does not require a password.

I went back and checked the restrictnullsessaccess, deny access to...,
access computer from..., made sure guest account was on, simple file sharing
on, tcp/ip, etc. Both computers have all of the same settings.

I'm trying everything that you ask, and will continue as long as you try to
help me. This is a difficult problem, it took me almost 2 months to find
someone that could fix it. When Carey Holzman fixed this, he resolved an
issue on TECHNOMANCER that prevented it from talking to GIR despite GIR being
able to grab files from TECHNOMANCER.

Thanks again.

OK, let's start from the bottom up. Check the status of the necessary network
services, run from both computers. Remember to download PSTools (free) first.
