I have a LAN based on TCP/IP, which consists of 3 computers running Windows

every time I try to copy a file, or several files, with a larger size (that
means more than 8 - 10 MB), to or from this computer, from or to any other
computer in the LAN, it resets with no warning; if I copy small files between
this computer and any other computer in the LAN, it works; there are no bads
on its HDD, navigation on the internet is OK, the shared printer attached on
it works properly, it has all the updates for Windows, the antivirus program
reports nothing, and there is no firewall running on it; it's a machine like
any other in the LAN; it has an AMD Athlon 2600+, 512 MB DDR, and a lot space
still on the volumes of the HDD.
Cannot imagine where the problem comes from.
Thanks

Un-install and re-install the computer's network adapter. If that
doesn't fix the problem, download and install the latest driver
program for the network adapter. If that doesn't fix it, consider
replacing the network adapter.
