Chuck,
It may seem like i'm looking for an easy answer but I've spent some time on
those websites and don't seem to be getting anywhere. I ran the ipconfig/all
on the bad computer and on a good one. They both have the same beginning ip
192.168.1.xxx . Some of the tips on the webpages I don't understand. If it
helps, the bad computer was working 3 days ago until I deleted a user
account. So the good news is that it WAS once working. The bad news is, i
have no idea what setting got swithced off.
Chris,
We can help you, but you have to work with us. I don't know what got changed, I
just try and help out to figure what needs to be changed again.
So since you don't see anything interesting in "ipconfig /all", try posting the
output, and we will do some more diagnostics. And there is nothing there that
will be of use to any bad guy, so help us to help you.
