Re: Now no access to two folders

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I'd have to say I'm using Guest authentication, since I have SFS enabled.
How do I know if I'm using 'SFS or Advanced FS'?

Many thanx for your response.

\\Laptop\My Documents is not accessible. You might not have permission to

out if you have access permissioons. Access is denied.

This is the initial problem I was trying to solve in the first place. I've
been at this for 3 days. I've shared the My Documents folder in these two
accounts. I've looked at permisions and passwords and such, but I'm
terrified to change anything and I don't know what to do.

Help!

Rip,

Is the server (the computer with My Documents shared) using Guest
authentication
(Advanced or Simple File Sharing), or non-Guest (Advanced File Sharing
only)?

If you're absolutely certain that non-Guest authentication is used, look
at
individual permissions problems.
