After turning off the wins server and changing the modes on each of the
systems to broadcast I am still seeing the same error on the broken box.
All other boxes can reach any share on the network. There are no firewalls
anywhere I can telnet to port 445 or any port on the boxes with the shares
without being blocked. One thing I am seeing when capturing packets on the
broken box I see that when I try to connect to a share that it is going
through port 80 and not the correct port. Is there somewhere where this is
defined or a corrupt file causing this?

AJ,

Instead of guessing why port 80 is involved, let's diagnose the problem. Look
at "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all", from each computer. Read this
article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely (download
browstat!):

Also run CPSServ on each computer (download PSTools - free).
