I have had my two-system home network running for a long time - my computer

We are both at XP SP2 (though I only recently upgraded to SP2 from SP 1).
She can still access mine but when I click on her computer under "Microsoft
Windows Network"/NetworkName/Mary I get a prompt box with "Connect to
Mary" at the top, an information line of "Connecting to Mary" and the User
name GRAYED out as MARY\Guest. Previously the "User Name" in this box
had been the name she uses to log onto her system (maryabcd) and I would
provide the password and be able to access it. When enabling
the Guest user in her system(which I did not like to do) and changing it's
password I still could not get to it (message about \\Mary not being
accessible.... Logon Failure: the user has not been granted the requested
logon type at this computer). But I don't want to log onto her system as
Guest - I want to get back to where I was before. I have no idea where to
start. I did uninstall Symmantec PC Anywhere on her system but that seemed
to have no impact

Ron,

Is MaryABCD the account that she used to use to access the computer? If so,
make sure that it's properly setup for network access.
