Hi All,
I have a linksys wirless router configered on an XP (SP2) Pro machine
and, have a problem with a laptop which used to pick up the router
configuration and allow me to access the www.
It seems not that i am unable to see the router on the laptop. I have
reset the router and, even backed up to a previous restore point on
the router but the laptop still cannot see it. I have also attempted
to reboot the laptop and refresh the network list but it still does
not pick up anything.
Please could someone help.
Regards.
So, your XP Pro SP2 machine is connected to the wireless access point/router
via a wired Ethernet connection?
And your laptop can't connect to the wireless access point? Are you also
running XP SP2 on that laptop? Do you have another wireless card, or another
wireless-capable computer you can use to rule out the laptop itself?
More info would help....
