Hello all
Any known issues with a xpsp2 client and non-spxp host networking/ics?

Thanks.
M.

Sorry, but I don't know what "non-spxp" means. A computer running XP
SP2 should network fine with an ICS host running Windows 98SE, Me,
2000, or any version of XP. Does that answer your question?

Are you having issues?

Thanks for that Steve,
what i meant was just a pc running xp without any service pack.
yes i'm having issues..thanks..
After updating the client with sp2.I have tried a lot of the things
mentioned here and else where. Commandline options to reset etc.Uninstalling
all protocols on both and installing again.I have disabled 1394 atm.
I have cable internet with cross-over connection to other pc.Host is
connected via usb with modem.NAV06 and xp firewalss are disabled.
Should i upgrade host aswell with sp2?Dont wanna loose connection on that
but..What could be missing?
Thanks.
M.

You're welcome, M. I would certainly upgrade the host with SP2, even
if there were no issues. An XP computer without any service packs has
dozens of security vulnerabilities that the service packs have fixed.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what issues you're having, so I can't say
how to fix them. You've told us what you tried that didn't fix them,
but I don't see a description of what's actually wrong. If you'll
give details, including what works, what doesn't work, and the
complete text of all error messages, I'm sure that someone can help.
