I have a desktop with Windows XP SP2 and use a cable modem for
up aaccess. I now have a laptop. I purchased a wireless router and set
Inetwork (I am not technically minded!) with shared files and printer.
icon,can
access the internet, desktop and printer from the laptop, but not theother
way around. It shows the laptop icon in the View Workgroup computerssection
of My Network Places on the desktop, but when I click on the laptop
out ifI
get the following message
\\Laptop is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find
Iyou have access permissions. The network path was not found
I have checked all the permissions on the laptop and everything is OK.
hencehave a feeling that I hve set up a Network and a wireless network,
the
mix-up, but if so, how do I correct this?
